For the "Pfons-Brenner" construction section, we delivered a rubber-tired gantry crane (RTG) with a lifting capacity of 5 tons to Austria within just 4 weeks. This is the 9th crane delivered in total for the construction of the Brenner Base Tunnel.

A milestone for precast concrete manufacturer and their modular house construction: Last week, OTTO QUAST Bau AG in Coswig commissioned an impressive TEICHMANN gantry crane with an overall length of 75 meters and a load capacity of 40 tons. The crane was especially adapted to meet the customer’s demanding requirements and has been successfully handed over.

TEICHMANN CRANES delievered 3 overhead traveling cranes for the tubbing factory at the construction site of the Brenner Base Tunnel as well as 1 gantry crane and 4 overhead cranes for the tunnel driving under ground.

At the closed mine in Ibbenbüren, one of the last German hard coal mines, a 7.4 km long tunnel is being built for the discharge of the emerging mine water. For this purpose, TEICHMANN CRANES delivered a 60t gantry crane in just 3 months.

For the renovation of the 100-year-old glass roof at Berlin's third largest train station, the TeichmannGroup manufactured and assembled a 121 m long gantry crane with a lifting height of 33.5 m. The limited space and assembly conditions in the middle of Berlin city as well as the strictest safety requirements in the manufacturing process made this project a very unique one.

For the construction of the new highspeed rail network "Highspeed 2" connecting the cities London, Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds TEICHMANN CRANES delivered several cranes to the U.K..

For the construction of a new network of cable tunnels under the name „London power tunnels, phase 2“ in the South of London, TEICHMANN CRANES has supplied a total of four cranes. In the first phase of the project, 32 km of tunnels at 30m underground between Wimbledon and Hackney as well as two new substations were build in the North of London. The project is carried out by the British energy company National Grid.

For the large-scale Polish infrastructure project, the construction of the new Swine Tunnel in which course the German islands of Usedom and the Polish island of Wollin will be connected by a new two-lane car tunnel, TEICHMANN CRANES supplied a 42.5t gantry crane. The crane is used over a period of 10 months for the transport of segments and plays the central role in supplying the tunnel boring machine with tunnel segments.

The Kerenzberg tunnel between Zurich and Chur running along Lake Walen in the canton of Glarus in Switzerland is part of large-scale renovation measures. For a planned 5,5km long escape tunnel and its tunnel drive using a tunnel boring machine, the TeichmannGroup together with its companies Cranetech AG from Basel and TEICHMANN CRANES from Essen delivered two gantry cranes at once.

For the civil engineering project of a new sewer tunnel in Solingen, TEICHMANN CRANES delivered a double girder gantry crane with a load capacity of 32t. On site, the gantry crane will supply the tunnel boring machine with concrete pipes at a depth of 45m underground.
