After extensive workshop test and repair of all defective components reconstruction and adaptation of the steel construction for the required height of supports and trolley track gauge could be made. Afterwards the partial renewal of cabling and of the electrical system of the crane was carried out. In particular the trolley travelling drives and the hoisting gear drives were equipped with new frequency converter control technology.

For container operation TEICHMANN CRANES equipped the Gantry Crane with an electrohydraulic telescopic spreader with Twistlock locking mechanism and limit switch monitoring for a secure container locking and unlocking. To prepare the crane for its future use the capacity was adapted to 45 t. The span and the lifting height are of 25 m respectively 11 m.
