BRUNNHUBER Eisenhüttenstadt succesfully carries out general inspection and complete restoration on V100 locomotive

Subject of the general inspection on the nearly 45 years old locomotive was a complete disassembly of the locomotive and the reconditioning of all main components such as gear units, bogies including brakes, engine and cooling circuit. In addition, the frame was re-measured and new manganese plates were attached.

The renovation of the cabin and the associated repainting of the complete locomotive made the locomotive shine in its old splendor.

After the acceptance test of the locomotive by the Federal Railway Authority, the locomotive will in future reliably transport wagons between the individual destinations.
