For the purpose of automatically handling hazardous material containers the crane is controlled via a camera-based system from a control station equipped with two joysticks. For this, the crane and piggyback spreader are additionally fitted with more than 20 high-resolution cameras to ensure a maximum overview.

In addition, the crane is integrated into an existing yard management system and will, in the future, automatically transport tank containers overnight within a defined working area. The supplied piggyback spreader features an interchangeable attachment, allowing it to also handle truck semi-trailers.
