The world market leader in steel industry charged BRUNNHUBER CRANES GERMANY and TEICHMANN CRANES with engineering, dismantling, reconstruction and manufacturing and also with reassembly and re-commissioning of a crane for one of its integrated smelting plants in Germany.

In September “GREIWING logistics for you GmbH” opened a new Logistics Centre in the Port of Duisburg and according to their own statements they enlarged their capacities on one of Europe’s most important logistics hubs by more than a third. On this occasion the range of Value Added Services was also extended. Furthermore new equipment was purchased for container handling; among other acquisitions Greiwing bought a modern 45 t TEICHMANN Gantry Crane that is able to handle up to 30 lifting movements per day.

In August TEICHMANN CRANES received a rush order from Central America: Matrisa, S.A. de C.V., a manufacturer of machine parts, needed a reliable travelling crane. TEICHMANN CRANES not only was charged with the workshop overhaul, but also with the crane’s transportation over the Atlantic Ocean.

Two years ago Brunnhuber Cranes Germany equipped the complete natural-gas power station of “Stadtwerke Essen” (municipal utility of Essen) with a total of 6 brand new cranes. This year the “Block Fortuna” started operation.

Crane Ahoy! TEICHMANN CRANES delivered a Double Girder Container Gantry Crane to the new barge terminal of the Dutch logistics service provider Rotra that is now being created in Doesburg. TEICHMANN organized a special transport to carry the revised components of the crane dismantled in Born over a route of 170 km across the country.

It is already the third crane that TEICHMANN CRANES delivered to the huge construction site in Pfunds where the construction works for the Joint-Venture Power Plant Inn are in full swing already since the summer of 2014. Here the HOCHTIEF Infrastructure GmbH is working at full blast at the headrace tunnel Maria Stein.

TEICHMANN CRANES delivered a double girder gantry crane to Austria in record time for assembly of the tunnel boring machine of Brenner Base Tunnel (BBT)

The TeichmannGroup delivered 5 cranes intended for use in a ring segment warehouse on a railway tunnel construction site in St. Paul, Austria.

In October 2014 a crane was replaced with rapid assistance of the TeichmannGroup at the production site of Vallourec Deutschland GmbH in Düsseldorf-Rath, a company belonging to the Vallourec Group producing hot-rolled seamless steel tubes.

During a time period of only 4 months TEICHMANN CRANES, actually specialized in reconstruction of used crane installations, has designed, manufactured and delivered a brand new gantry crane in well-engineered and proven tubular construction.
